A Message from our Small Business

First of all, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of you who continue to support us through the uncharted waters we are all navigating at this moment in time. It truly means the world to us that you resonate with our offerings as a brand.

As we move through this time, as most of you would know by now, we have no public markets or events in any near future. The Kelowna Farmers Market has been permitted to run under many restrictions, one of them being that they must only be hosting farmers and food providers. We are so grateful that our fellow market vendors are still able to provide the community with locally grown and locally made food. Local supply chain is SO important right now.

Many of our retail partners have also had to close there doors, but many have now created online stores and will be listing some of our products or alternatively are offering curtsied pick up. You will have to check with your favourite retailer for more information on that.

We operate our business out of a small downtown studio space in Kelowna BC. Due to the fact that it is part of an office building, the entire building is actually closed to the public at this moment in time. For this reason we are not able to provide local pick up. The good news is, we offer FREE SHIPPING Canada wide! As far as the cleanliness in our studio, it is only Matt and I that have access to it and we want to assure you that we are practicing ALL of the recommended guidelines for cleanliness at this time. We are both also self isolating at home and physical distancing when we are going out for what we need.

We feel EXTREMELY fortunate as over the last two years we have spent a great deal of time and effort building the online side of our business. We will obviously be facing challenges over these next coming months without our regular + favourite markets but we are so grateful to be able to still share our creations with all of you through this online realm.

As many of you know, most small businesses survive on small margins, and as we move through this time in history, we will be doing our very best to support small + local business as much as well can. The strength of our community connection is important now more than ever.

Again, we thank you all so much for the love and support for Salt + Sage.

It literally means the world to us,

Cayla + Matthew
