Black Lives Matter : A statement from Salt + Sage

10% OF ALL SALES will be donated to Black Lives Matter.

The racial injustice in our world is being fully revealed. As a person with privilege, are you looking away to avoid the discomfort, or are allowing yourself to be forced into the uncomfortable and finding the courage to face it?

This work means you must face yourself. The ability to opt out of the conversation/the work of dismantling your privilege in this world IS a privilege.

Whatever your religious or spiritual inclinations, we are all here in our bodies to have the human experience. To deny the fact that some bodies are being systematically mistreated solely on the way they look is inhuman in nature.

We can do better.
We can be better.

We also recognize at Salt + Sage that we can do more to represent all lives in our media to foster a message of inclusivity for all. If you are a person of colour who would be interested in being featured in our blog, or featured in our photos please send us an email at cayla@saltandsage.ca

Systemic racism is not ok.

Police Brutality is not ok.

Remaining Silent when it is time to act is not ok.
