Shipping, Returns + Exchanges



Shipping Policy

At Salt + Sage we are committed to processing all orders as quickly as possible. Due to the fact that many items are handmade to order, please allow up to 3-5 business days for items to be shipped. If for any reason there is a delay in processing and/or shipping, the customer will be directly notified.

 

Shipping Domestic

All International shipping is fulfilled through Canada Post on our end. The rates are weight based and will be estimated for you at check out.

Free Shipping within Canada: With the free shipping option there will be no insurance + no tracking information available and no set window of delivery time. 

Canada Post Expedited + Xpresspost Parcel: Includes tracking number and $100 insurance. Arrives within 1-7 business days of shipping depending on the option chosen by the customer. Tracking number will be provided via email once item is shipped.

 

Salt + Sage is not responsible for lost or stolen packages.

Please ensure you double check your shipping address before placing your order as Salt + Sage is not responsible for undelivered packages due to incorrect address information.

 

Shipping International

All International shipping is fulfilled through Canada Post on our end. The rates are weight based and will be estimated for you at check out.

USA

USPS Small Packet US Air:  Doesn't include tracking number. Many packages take time passing through customs, especially those containing jewelry. This process is out of our control and, as a result, arrival times may vary.

USPS Expidited/Tracked/Xpresspost Parcel: Includes tracking number. Generally arrives within 1-7 business days of shipping depending on the option chosen by the customer. Tracking number will be provided via email once item is shipped. Many packages take time passing through customs, especially those containing jewelry. This process is out of our control and, as a result, arrival times may vary.

All Other International Shipping outside of the USA

All International shipping is fulfilled through Canada Post on our end and then transfer over to your countries federal postal service. The rates are weight based and will be estimated for you at check out for all of our international customers outside of Canada + the USA.

Salt + Sage is not responsible for any customs fees involved with the delivery of packages for international orders.

Returns + Exchanges

Change your mind? We will gladly accept unworn, or defective merchandise within 30 days of purchase for either refund or exchange. Please email cayla@saltandsage.ca with your information. 

We take great care to insure your jewelry is packed and shipped properly, however, accidents do happen. If your piece arrives damaged, please take a photo and email it to us. 

We will exchange unworn items at their retail value for another item of equal value within 30 days of purchase. Retail value can be put toward higher prices items with the buyer paying the difference. Retail value can also be put towards lower cost items and we will refund the difference.

For returns received within 30 days of purchase, we will credit your original form of payment. This may take a few days to appear on your end through your financial institution. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.

 

Salt + Sage is not responsible for items lost in transit when returning items.
