That has meant implementing significant changes right across our operations, following the guidance of national and local public health authorities.

In the last few weeks, we have seen a significant increase in parcel volumes as Canadians stay home and shop more online. With incoming parcel volumes at Christmas levels, the safety measures we’ve implemented in our processing facilities mean it is taking longer to process. Those measures include physical distancing in facilities that were not designed for keeping people 2 metres apart. While we are delivering in record numbers for this time of year, customers should anticipate delays."

 

S H I P P I N G  P O L I C Y

At Salt + Sage we are committed to processing all orders as quickly as possible. Due to the fact that many items are handmade to order, please allow up to 2-7 business days to process, please factor in this time in addition to shipping estimates. Orders are processed Monday to Friday 10:00am to 5:00pm. Our studio is closed on weekends & holidays so no orders are processed during that time.

Orders placed after 10:00AM PST will begin processing the following business day.

If for any reason there is a delay in processing and/or shipping, the customer will be directly notified.

All domestic shipping is fulfilled through Canada Post on our end. The rates are weight based and will be estimated for you at check out.

Free Shipping within Canada: With the free shipping option, packages will go regular mail so there will be no insurance + no tracking information available and no set window of delivery time. Due to the ongoing COVID pandemic shipping times can vary greatly depending on the current situation in different cities.

Canada Post Expedited + Xpresspost Parcel: Includes tracking number and $100 insurance. Arrives within 1-7 business days of shipping date depending on the option chosen by the customer. Tracking number will be provided via email once item is shipped.

 

Salt + Sage is not responsible for lost or stolen packages.

Please ensure you double check your shipping address before placing your order as Salt + Sage is not responsible for undelivered packages due to incorrect address information.

USA

USPS Small Packet US Air:  Doesn't include tracking number. Many packages take time passing through customs, especially those containing jewelry. This process is out of our control and, as a result, arrival times may vary.

USPS Expidited/Tracked/Xpresspost Parcel: Includes tracking number. Generally arrives within 1-7 business days of shipping depending on the option chosen by the customer. Tracking number will be provided via email once item is shipped. Many packages take time passing through customs, especially those containing jewelry. This process is out of our control and, as a result, arrival times may vary.

All Other International Shipping outside of the USA

All International shipping is fulfilled through Canada Post on our end and then transfer over to your countries federal postal service. The rates are weight based and will be estimated for you at check out for all of our international customers outside of Canada + the USA.

R E T U R N S  +  E X C H A N G E S 

  

As a small business, we make most pieces to order, because of this WE DO NOT OFFER RETURNS but we do offer exchanges or store credit.

Please note that some pieces will be listed as final sale. This will be included in the listing description.

We will gladly accept UNWORN items still with all original packaging within 7 days of receiving your order for exchange for store credit. Retail value can be put toward higher prices items with the buyer paying the difference.

Please email cayla@saltandsage.ca with your information and we will send you the address to mail the approved exchange items.

When we have received the approved exchange items, we will email you a code with the exchange value that can be used at any time on our website if you are choosing the store credit option.

Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.

Salt + Sage is not responsible for items lost/damaged in transit when returning items.

 

PRIVACY POLICY

By using our website, you (the visitor) agree to allow third parties to process your IP address, in order to determine your location for the purpose of currency conversion.
