AUGUST ~ PERIDOT

 Peridot is called the bringer of joy, and it is the only other gem aside from diamonds that are formed in molten rock of the upper mantle and brought to the surface by the forces of earthquakes and volcanoes. It is a stone of transformation, helping one to shed old beliefs and negative thought patterns as well as removes energy blocks in the body. It emits an energy of peace and well beings and helps to open the mind to the limitless possibilities in front of us. Peridot is also the August birthstone.
